About the HATI BARI Resort:
Hatibari (Tarukunja) eco-tourism center is located in the proximity of Hatibari village and Hatibari Forest Range Office, in the Gopiballavpur-1 block of Jhargram district. It is situated amidst Sal forest's glistering green and on the river Subarnarekha's bank, which marks the boundary of Bengal and Jharkhand. The Orissa-Bengal border is also just about 2 km away. One can enjoy the immense aesthetic beauty of the lush green Sal forest.

How to Reach:
On the road via NH-6 from Kolkata to Feko-ghat and then to Hatibari via Gopiballavpur. To Jhargram by Train and then to Hatibari via Lodhasuli, Feko-ghat, and Gopiballavpur by car. To Kharagpur by Train and then to Hatibari by car via Lodhasuli, Feko-ghat, and Gopiballavpur.

About WBFDCL
The West Bengal Forest Development Corporation Limited (WBFDCL) came into existence in 1974 on the recommendation of the National Commission of Agriculture in their Interim Report in 1972 on "Production Forestry - Man-Made Forests". Having been registered as a Company and incorporated as per the Companies Act, of 1956; the Corporation started functioning on 19th November 1974. Over time, the Corporation has diversified its activities into eco-tourism, wood-based industries, NTFP Management, plantations of economically valuable species, etc, and expanded its operations almost all over West Bengal.
