Kate and Jim take advantage of the the early sunsets of late November to search for agates, petrified wood, jasper and other treasures on Montana's Yellowstone River. A low sun angle makes rockhounding a magical experience, with vibrant colors and the illumination of backlit agates. The pair find lots of agatized wood, beautiful jasper, and Kate even finds a CHUNKY agate on this isolated gravel beach. It's a sunset rock hunting adventure - come along!
