The Fallout themed Xbox Elite Series 2 is the premier choice for fans of the franchise, offering a highly tactile, "Vault-Tec" aesthetic that standard Fallout Model 1914 Controller cannot match. The high-quality matte finish should resists fading over time and the Pipboy theme is very well done. The controller is a great looking controller but once again we see the Xbox Design Lab changing a Premium for this controller over other offerings. While some call it a "Fallout Tax" - It does smell a bit like a cash grab which is something Xbox has been doing a lot of lately. The bigger concern has to be the reality that this does not have hall effect or TMR sticks and the chance of Stick Drift is real and worthy of consideration if you are thinking to make this your daily driver. Still no matter, it is an exceptional looking design to represent the Fallout franchise.
