Lyrics by H Kaas, Vocals by Suno
Inspired by Isaiah 6:8
"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”"
This verse is a powerful in more than one way. It's as a call to faith and obedience, where the prophet Isaiah responds to God’s question, “Whom shall I send?” with the willing answer, “Here am I. Send me!” This verse reflects a heart ready to serve God, stepping forward in faith to be His messenger, no matter the cost. It’s a reminder that when God calls, our response should be one of surrender and trust, embracing the purpose He has for us. Not just in answering his call, but to also realize that we have been cleansed of our past, and that we are worthy to do his work!
Lyrics
I heard Your voice call out my name,
A whisper deep inside.
You asked, "Who will go for Me?"
And, Lord, I lift my life.
Here I am, send me,
I will go where You lead.
Let my hands do Your work,
Let my feet bring Your peace.
The world is lost, but You are light,
Your love will lead the way.
I'll be the one to shine for You,
To speak the words You say.
Here I am, send me,
I will go where You lead.
Let my hands do Your work,
Let my feet bring Your peace.
I won't be afraid, I won't turn away,
Your Spirit goes before.
Every step I take, I will walk by faith,
'Til the whole world knows You, Lord.
Here I am, send me,
I will go where You lead.
Let my hands do Your work,
Let my feet bring Your peace.
Here I am, send me,
I will go where You lead.
Let my hands do Your work,
Let my feet bring Your peace.
Here I am, Lord, send me...
Here I am, Lord, send me...
