16 Things That Can Go Wrong: Cataract/Eye Surgery (4/4)

Описание к видео 16 Things That Can Go Wrong: Cataract/Eye Surgery (4/4)

These are common things that can go wrong with cataract/eye surgery. They range from annoying to serious.

WARNING: This video contains information that may be upsetting. If you are prone to anxiety issues or similar, skip this video. It covers only rare events, but may be of interest for those who want to be more informed.

NOTICE: I am not a doctor nor medically trained. This is NOT medical advice, rather I am conveying my personal experiences and what I learned along the way. You should always get your medical advice from your doctor, not from me, certainly not from the internet. I have tried to be factually correct, but I can not be sure. Use anything you gather from this at your own risk.

When things go wrong, let your doctor know immediately. Go see them. Don't wait. I failed this. I waited. For example, lens exchanges are best when done immediately. I should have gone to another surgeon.

Dr. Michele Lee is a favorite, she is not afraid to cover difficult topics and her videos do not sound like an advertisement. (I do not know, work with, or receive any compensation for saying this, it is only a personal / layman's opinion.)
