In this follow-up to the Angel Wings sign, I'm finishing the back side of this “memorial” piece—something you can display to remember someone you love. The board is pre-stained in white, then layered with a soft blush-pink background and subtle shimmer before adding the beautiful quote:

“I can no longer see you with my eyes, but I will feel you in my heart forever.”

To complete the design, I'm applying two pink rose transfers and adorable lovebird transfers (from the Wings of Hope set) for a gentle, comforting finish. This piece can be used double-sided—one side for one loved one, and the other side for someone else, or simply turned for different seasons of remembrance.

Base + Prep
12x18 oval wood sign (matches the angel wings project)
White wood stain (Minwax white stain mentioned)
Sandpaper (120 grit)
Pencil + eraser (for placement marks)
Painter’s tape (to block off parts of stencil)
Paint + Tools
DecoArt paints: Buttermilk, Baby Blush, Vintage Pink, White
Optional shimmer paint: Rose Gold (used lightly for sparkle)
