The BEST Lens for Wedding Photography

Описание к видео The BEST Lens for Wedding Photography

The best lens for wedding photography depends on your style. For me, the Tamron 35-150mm f2-2.8 is incredible for the entire day. In this podcast, I'll talk more about it.

There is no single "best" lens for wedding photography, as the ideal lens will depend on your specific needs and shooting style. Some common lenses that are often used for wedding photography include:

Wide-angle lens: These lenses are great for capturing large groups or sweeping landscapes. They can also be useful for shooting in tight spaces, such as inside a church or reception hall. (I personally don't use them often)

Standard/normal lens: A standard lens, usually in the 50mm range, is a versatile option that can be used for a wide range of shots, from portraits to candid moments. (I personally prefer an 85mm lens to a 50mm lens)

Telephoto lens: Telephoto lenses are great for capturing close-up shots of the ceremony or reception, as well as for portraits. They can also be useful for shooting from a distance, such as when you need to capture a wide shot of the ceremony from the back of the church.

Prime lens: Prime lenses have a fixed focal length, which means they don't zoom in and out. They are often preferred by photographers because they tend to be faster and have a wider maximum aperture, which can be useful in low light situations.

Ultimately, the best lens for wedding photography will depend on your personal shooting style and the specific needs of the event. It's a good idea to have a range of lenses in your kit, so you can choose the one that's best suited for the shot you're trying to capture.
