Once a thriving town, Dhanushkodi was devastated by a cyclone in 1964, leaving behind haunting ruins that tell a story of resilience and loss. The surreal beauty of its beaches, where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean, is a sight to behold. The remnants of the old railway station and church serve as poignant reminders of a bygone era.
