Based on Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster film, JAWS opened with Universal Orlando in 1990 and quickly became a fan favorite. Guests boarded tour boats through the peaceful waters of Amity Harbor, only to come face-to-face with a massive great white shark. With fire effects, explosions, and the unforgettable finale, JAWS: The Ride became one of the park’s most iconic experiences until its closure in 2012.

Also included in this video is a special look at the Jaws 50th Anniversary pop-up at Universal Studios Florida in 2025, proving just how much love fans still have for the film and the ride that terrified generations of theme park guests.
