The Black Rock Desert is a semi-arid region of lava beds and playa, or alkali flats. The Black Rock Playa in northwestern Nevada is one of the largest, flattest, surfaces on Earth, covering approximately 200 square miles. The playa is also home to the annual Burning Man event, attracting 100,000 people for a week-long festival.

Taken on October 2018, I hope this video gives you a glimpse of how unique and spectacular this place really is. It is amazing to see the 360 degree view of the flat bed which stretches for miles and miles. The color of the flat bed changes during the day and night. At sunrise, the flat bed looks like a frozen lake and at sunset, it shimmers. At night, the sky is covered with thousands of stars!
