Anti Swarm Drone system
Indian Army is developing a counter Drone swarming system, tentatively called Bhargavastra. The counter drone system will protect the mechanized army formation from attack of drones through vehicle mounted Micro Missiles system to neutralize the threat. The systems will be carried on a 4x4 vehicles and will have interception range of 2.5 Kilometers through its infrared or charged coupled device seeker with detection range of 5 Kilometer with 36o Degree coverage.

Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems (AEWC)
It was confirmed recently that an Indigenous Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems (AEWC) was used in the Balakot Strike. AEWC is a long time DRDO project to develop self sufficiency in Early warning systems. The Indian AEWC is built on the Brazilian Embraer transport plane platform. The systems uses active electronically scanned array (AESA) as primary Radar with an ESM system for complete 360-degree coverage and a database of up to 3000 emitters against which threats will be scanned. Further AEWCS will have self defence suites also. More capable Phalcon AWACS are already with the th Indian air force.Recently India cleared new project of DRDO to develop six new Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft for the Indian Air Force.


Indigenously made Light combat Helicopter “Prachand” was formally inducted into air force recently. Developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Prachand can operate both in desert and IN high Altitude battle fields like Laddakh.The LCH is the only attack helicopter in the world that can land and take off at an altitude of 5,000. LCH is also capable of firing a range of air-to-ground and air-to-air missiles and can destroy air defence operations of the enemy. The Indian armed forces have an overall requirement of 160 LCH — 95 for Army and 65 for Air Force. Range of Prachand is 550 km with weapons with an endurance of around 3 hours.It can carry Rockets, Air-to-air missileslike Mistral, and Anti-tank guided missile like 4 Dhruvastra.
