1:
click on bottom right corner and turn on battery saver

2:

Go to settings—Privacy—Scroll down to "background apps"—turn off all programs you don't want running in background

3:

click on notification icon and turn off bluetooth

4:

Search "services" and open it — open windows search — stop it and set it to disabled

Note: you can enable it if you want to use windows search

5:

open gpedit.msc (available only in some windows series)

computer configuration\Administrative templates—windows components—search—prevent indexing when running on battery power to conserve energy: Enable it— Apply

6:

search for command prompt(admin)

type "bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes"

7:

turning down screen brightness & turn off keyboard backlight if possible

search "Windows Mobility Center"

Constantly checking for new email messages can drain your battery. So, tell Windows to check less frequently to extend the life of your battery. Go to *Settings -- Accounts -- Email & app accounts**. Click on your account, click the **Manage* button and then for *Download new content**, switch it from as items arrive to every **30 minutes**, **hourly* or *manually* and then click **Done**.
