When it comes to vinyl flooring installation, rod welding can be necessary for an optimal installation of the floor on large surfaces or in dry or wet areas. Hot welding is always preferable to install any commercial flooring.

Welding rods are mostly differentiated by the temperature used and applied. PVC rods will stretch so you can put more heat on them than on Linoleum rods. For PVC welding rods, use a speed nozzle and applied a temperature of around 380° Celsius.
