Queen Of Hearts (But Make It Medieval) | Happy Valentine's Day!

Though I’ve never been one to celebrate Valentine’s Day, making this coif may have just changed my perspective on all things heart-adorned. I can’t remember the last time I’ve created something that has equally delighted and frustrated me as much as this one has.

I planned on doing this design months ago but procrastinated on it until last week when I decided to ignore all of my better judgment and attempt to craft a 50+ hour project in less than 5 days. Now that the week has finally ended, and my body, mind, and spirit are all utterly exhausted from the unnecessary turmoil I put myself through, I have to admit, it was all worth it.

Now that I’ve seen this piece come to life, I cannot help but dream of creating an entire Queen of Hearts chainmaille ensemble.
