Here are quick steps to save the seed:

1. Allow the beans to completely dry out on the plant itself
2. Harvest the pods
3. Bring them inside and shell them
4. To check if they’re fully dried press your thumbnail into seed, if it makes an indent then its not ready but if it doesn’t then its fully dry
5. If your beans do need to dry longer, place them on a flat surface somewhere with good air circulation and out of direct sunlight
6. Once dry them store them and make sure to label and date!
