Last week my husband and I moved interstate from Queensland to South Australia for work. It has been an exciting but uncertain time because of COVID-19.

We originally had planned to drive and take our time on the scenic route but due to state border closures, we had to say a quick goodbye to our families and catch a last minute flight.

We didn't bring anything with us except our clothes and essentials. Today my sewing machine arrived and I was so excited that I decided to make something.

This handmade pillow slip made our new home feel more cozy. The linen I used was one I had naturally dyed with avocado seeds.
