Here's a custom heritage turkey feed mix that has been working well for year-round feeding. This is much more complete than just plain crumbles. You can make your own ratio- I currently use 3 parts starter, 2 parts scratch, and 1/2 part each of sunflower seeds, oats, and barley.

Poults will still need the plain starter, and hens will still need a calcium source such as oyster shell. They also need access to fresh grass.

Heritage turkeys should also have high-fat treats such as mealworms, and if possible also acorns(and/or olives) when in season.
