Mark Ruffalo's Brother's Death Is Still An Unsolved Crime. The sudden and mysterious death of Italian American actor Mark Ruffalo's brother, Scott Ruffalo, remains a source of intrigue and debate. Scott, a popular hairdresser, was found with a gunshot wound to the head at his Beverly Hills apartment in 2008. He was just 39 years of age. After a week in a coma, he tragically passed away. The case was initially considered an attempted murder, and a woman who was present at the scene was briefly arrested. However, she was later released, and her lawyer claimed the shooting was a self-inflicted accident during a game of Russian roulette. Despite this, the Los Angeles coroner's office officially ruled the death a homicide. To this day, the case remains unsolved, with no one charged in connection with Scott Ruffalo's death.
