The 2020 World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) Guidelines for the Management of Hemophilia, 3rd edition, provides evidence- and consensus-based recommendations for clinical practice and is an update to the 2005 and 2012 editions, Based upon a systematic review of the literature and a rigorous consensus-based Delphi process of hemophilia care experts and well-informed patients, WHF’s recommendations reflect:

Improvement in hemostasis
Progress in genetic analysis
Advances in laboratory monitoring
Inclusion of patient-reported assessment outcomes

The 3rd edition of the WFH Treatment Guidelines is endorsed by the Asian-Pacific Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis, European Haemophilia Consortium, and National Hemophilia Foundation (USA).

In this webinar, we will provide an overview of the WFH Treatment Guidelines, 3rd edition, and discuss the unprecedented progress made in hemophilia diagnosis and treatment, focusing on three sections which have seen the greatest evolution since the 2nd edition and showcasing their potential to impact the management of hemophilia.
