The Mayor and City Council met on Tuesday, June 4, and the Mayor began with proclamations designating National Gun Violence Awareness Day, LGBTQIA Pride Month, and National Caribbean American Heritage Month.

The council approved a $200,000 bid to purchase a rear loading garbage truck, and at the end of the meeting the council discussed a policy regarding non-profit fees for City services, although no official action was taken.

The City Council will meet again in regular session on Tuesday, June 18.
