I have chosen to remain Free-to-Play (F2P) by deliberate choice. Typically, in most gacha games, I tend to be a 🐬 Dolphin. However, I've come to feel that gacha games have conditioned me to normalize excessive spending. How far am I willing to push myself to consistently rank in the top 10, never aiming for the top 1 unless I become the server's leading whale? Even when I do spend money, I usually settle in the top 5 or top 10, but I realize this won't leave a lasting impression. It's precisely why I've committed to excelling as a purely F2P player. Some might call it narcissism, but I firmly believe my account ranks among the best F2P accounts globally. Here lies the real competition, where I can compete on equal footing with fellow F2P players, spending virtually $0.

I am actively reprogramming my mindset to resist the normalization of excessive spending in gacha games. This is my personal stance against the pervasive monetization strategies of these profit-driven companies. Though I may stand alone in this belief, I am resolute in my decision.
