560SL - Fuel Tank Removal and Strainer Replacement

Описание к видео 560SL - Fuel Tank Removal and Strainer Replacement

In this video, I remove the fuel tank and replace the fuel strainer. This was not as hard as I thought it would be. It took time of course, but it was not that difficult. With some models it will be necessary for you to remove the fuel tank in order to replace your strainer. Don't forget that I will be starting this car for the first time since 2008 LIVE on YouTube. I am documenting every part of the 560SL restoration build . The idea is to end up with the best documented 560SL rebuilds on the Internet.

I want everyone who visits my channel to know about a friend of mine named Tasos. His videos inspire me to be more like him. He is so much better than I am. You can find his YouTube channel at:

My videos are not sponsored by anyone. The products and tools I use are products and tools I have purchased with my own money. I include links below to any special tools or products used in this video.

I used the Jetech 3/4" drive 46mm socket. It is inexpensive and does the job well. This socket will also fit the fuel level sensor.

To set the torque I used the GEARWRENCH 3/8" Flex Head Electronic Torque Wrench with Angle:
