TE Connectivity's Measurement Specialties MS5837-02BA Pressure Sensor Modules are optimized for altimeter and barometer applications. The modules feature a compact ceramic-metal package filled with a dielectric gel to protect the pressure sensing element from moisture and can be used with an O-ring to form a watertight seal against the device enclosure. The pressure sensor operates from a 1.5 to 3.6 volt supply, with low active and standby currents.The module can operate from 300 to 1200 millibar and provides 13-centimeter resolution at sea level. It communicates over an I2C interface and requires no external components, reducing design size and complexity.
