Paint Wash on Media Console:
Paint Mix (using Fusion Mineral Paint):
4 parts Woodwick
2 Parts Oakham
1 Part Chestnut Mare

Once the paint was mixed I used a 50:50 paint:water ratio. Solo cups and plastic spoons work great for mixing the paint.

Application Instructions:
The application method I used for this paint wash is similar to the method used for staining, where you paint it on and then wipe off the excess with a dry rag while the paint is still wet. It’s important to work in small enough sections so that there aren’t patches drying before they’re wiped down. Be deliberate about how you section off the piece, otherwise it can end up looking like a patchwork quilt. I practiced my method on some scrap wood and on the inside of the cabinet first, before doing the most visible areas.
