Commonly Mispronounced Words by Filipino ESL Teachers PART 1 | English for Kids (EFK) Edition

We should be proud to be Filipinos because we are bilinguals, we can speak 2 languages fluently like English and Filipino. However, the downside would be what we call “first language influence”. This is how our first language affects how we speak our second language in terms of accent, pronunciation, grammar and word usage. And this is why I created this video series on pronunciation.

For Part 1, we will focus on commonly mispronounced words when teaching EFK or English for Kids. Likewise, we will do the same for Part 2... so STAY TUNED!

For the succeeding parts, we will cover commonly mispronounced words and phrases in the ESL classroom and those that we say incorrectly when teaching teenagers and adults... so again, STAY TUNED!!
