Techniques never seen before in a Star battle puzzle

Ryotaro Chiba Constructed this Star Battle puzzle for IPC ( Indian Puzzle Championship) 2022 which was one of the high pointers in the contest. Many solvers had to guess through this puzzle and missed the intended solve path. Watch the video for the solve path I chose while solving the puzzle.

Fill some cells with stars so that each row, column, and bold region contains the indicated number of stars. Stars cannot be placed in adjacent cells that share an edge or corner.
