When Peter Frampton announced his farewell tour, many of us thought we would never get the opportunity to see him perform again. Peter was diagnosed with degenerative Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM) that's atrophying his muscles. Throughout the past four years, Peter has been fighting a disease and because he can still play guitar, and well, he embarked on a tour named appropriately the Never Say Never Tour. Here are some of the highlights of a few of his classics. He definitely still has it. He was also able to play his historic black beauty Les Paul. The guitar has the greatest guitar story ever. I will place the link here. It's a great watch if you have not seen it or know about the history of the guitar. I was able to record five songs as I enjoyed the rest of the show but his guitar playing was phenomenal. If you watch the video, make sure you catch the Beatles cover, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" as I was able to get some good close-ups that really captured the magic of why he is one of the best guitar players ever. Pure magic.
