Chartreuse is truly a one of a kind beverage. The Carthusian monks have existed for over 1000 years, for the last 300 they have sustained themselves on the production of chartreuse.

I was fortunate enough to go to the distillery where they age Chartreuse. Unfortunately, filming was permitted in the distillery, however this centuries old liquor has a story worth telling.
