The Nagpuri film Celestina & Lawrence was selected for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024. Only 32 films from India have been chosen for the festival so it is a big achievement that a nagpuri film made in Jharkhand has been selected.

In this episode, we are joined by the film's lead cast and director. Salib Minj and Ankita Kerketta are playing the male and female lead in the film. The nagpuri film was written and directed by Vikram Kumar. The film is based on the lives of Day laborers colloquially called "Reja" in Jharkhand during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr. Vikram Kumar has been associated with filmmaking for a long time and has experience working in prominent production houses in Bollywood, Mumbai. He was mostly working in documentary films and Celestina & Lawrence is his first fictional feature-length film.

In this interview, the team of Celestina & Lawrence share their experience while working on the film. They share how they prepared for the film and share their struggles and anecdotes while working on the film.
