This coin was believed to be released in 1992/1993 to mark "National Land Conservation Week". The website of Kolkata mint lists this coin as officially issued by them. However for the reasons best known to Kolkata Mint, this coin was not released for general circulation. It is understood that the coin has a mintage of few hundred pieces. Due to limited availability, the prices of this coins have shot up.
