Negative reviews on Google Business Profiles can feel like a black hole—you flag them, nothing happens, and you’re stuck watching competitors or trolls chip away at your reputation. We’ve been there, and the truth is you don’t need some shady service or hack.

I’ve had plenty of bogus reviews pulled down just by reporting them the right way and, when needed, going straight through Google’s support channels. It’s not about gaming the system—it’s about showing there’s no record of that person ever being a customer and backing it up with proof. When you do that, Google will often take action.

We walk through exactly how we’ve handled this for our own assets and clients, including a roofing contractor who was hit with fake competitor reviews. The steps aren’t complicated, but knowing which link to use, how to contact Google, and when to push for a callback makes all the difference.

Hey guys.

Does anyone have a consistent way to remove negative reviews from a GBP? I have seen some GBP's manage to get theirs taken down by Google pretty consistently but never managed to do so myself. I know you can report it to Google (feels very much like a blackhole) but wondering if you flag with multiple accounts if that helps or if there is any other methodology I am missing?

The only way I've had success is by speaking to the customer directly. Otherwise never had any luck. There is one client with stellar reviews but with one scorched earth type review that I'd like to help them get removed as it isn't accurate but pretty damaging.
