03-10-2023 North East, PA - Heavy Snow and Slick Conditions lead to Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-90

NORTH EAST, PA - Just after 10 AM, rescue personnel from Crescent Hose Company and Fuller Hose Company #1 were dispatched for a reported multi-vehicle accident involving two tractor trailers. Fuller Engine 204 arrived on scene and utilized window cutters to extricate a patient that was still in a cab that was displaced from the frame of the tractor. Crews worked together to stabilize the the vehicles and provide patient care until help EMS could arrive. Only one minor injury was reported from Crescent Hose. I-90 was closed east bound at I-86 for a couple hours while crews attended to the scene and cleared one lane of travel. One tractor trailer was hauling steel materials and was scattered across the interstate.
