William Cody, aka, 'Buffalo Bill' opened Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in 1883, during the golden age of the outdoor shows. The show featured the American frontier life, the American Indian life, the Pony Express. It included characters and famous persons whom lived during the temporal and disappearing era like, 'Sitting Bull' - a Lakota leader, a folk hero - Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane - an American frontierswoman and an American woman sharpshooter - Annie Oakley.
