This home is a collaboration of two things that I love, selling real estate and using my design skills to bring new life to a home.

This owners of this home had called upon my services as a realtor and wanted me to offer ideas on how they could maximize the resale of their home. I regularly work with clients that are looking to fix and flip properties and have a track record of success in getting them sold afterwards. I love this area and look forward to more projects in the future.

This home was a very basic entry level home when it was built, with a very familiar and functional floor plan. By today's standards, some parts of the floor plan were quirky and a bit out-dated. There was a living room that was totally closed off from the rest of the home, with only one doorway to enter it. There was a tiny master bathroom with only one sink, a commode and a tub. The door to the master bath, when opened, covered half of the length of the tub. The home was very "compartmentalized" and the rooms didn't flow very well. It wasn't a home for entertaining and it was cramped for space.

I'm happy to share with you the finished results. A 24'x24' great room was added to this home, with custom cabinetry, a cozy fireplace and volume ceilings gave this home more stature. A fully custom lighting package was integrated throughout the entire home, with modern farmhouse design elements. The master bedroom became a master suite-of-rooms with a 12'x24' addition that added a seating room and a spacious walk-in closet. The sitting room has a small sink and refrigerator, adding convenience and a coffee station during morning workday routines. The mini kitchen area will be of benefit if a future homeowner has a child and needs to prepare a bottle, or if someone becomes ill and needs hydration and rest. The sitting room could also be a place to watch television or a movie, with a glass of wine. Another room that was added to the owner's suite is a spacious walk-in closet with a professionally designed custom closet system. This master bedroom has evolved into a spa-like retreat that will delight its new owner. The master bathroom was doubled in size. Luxurious Carrara marble is stunning in the modern configuration which includes custom cabinetry, a custom shower with SIX jets, a rainshower fixture, a handheld spray and built-in bench seating. There is also a deep soaking tub with a floor mounted fixture and handheld spray. Every inch of this bathroom was carefully engineered to provide luxury.
