Tony Stark’s Mark III armor, was constructed from a gold titanium alloy, allowing it to overcome issues with ice-build-up that plagued his previous suit at high altitudes. This was the first Iron Man suit to integrate an on-board weapons system and was the first to adopt the standard red and gold color scheme, the Mark III is considered Iron Man’s Official classic armor.
