HOUSE OF THE DRAGON 1x8 REACTION - THE LORD OF THE TIDES - GAME OF THRONES PREQUEL SERIES

What's up, Knights, and welcome back to another reaction and commentary to the brand new House of the Dragon episode, 1x8, 'The Lord of the Tides'.

Man... this was so heavy, so deeply emotional. We were honestly not prepared to be so moved by the filmmaking, particularly the masterful acting of powerhouse Paddy Considine which was gracefully moving in tandem with Ramin Djawadi's score in THAT moment, or as we'd like to call it, Viserys' Swan Song, and arguably the most powerful moment in this show. Other honorable mentions that have impacted us so earth-shatteringly, are Eve Best and Wil Johnson who have brought such dimension with subtlety and ferver with their acting and presence.

This episode was such an enlightening move in storytelling, showing us multiple shades of each character as they move through the treacherous fields of the Game of Thrones and it has only deepened our awe of this show.
