In this video I'll be exploring an interesting, unique weapon design in the classic JRPG Skies of Arcadia. Basically a falchion with an extended, grip-shaped quillon (part of the guard) that the user can hold on to. And of course in best fantasy fashion the hero is dual wielding too. Could this be effective in the real world or would it be just too gimmicky and self-defeating?

Let's play around with the idea and see if there is any practical merit to it, on top of the entertainment value.
