Ingredients:

Main Ingredients:
• 1 kilo medium squid, cleaned and cut
• 1 whole red bell pepper, sliced
• 2 small Thai bird's eye chilies, diced
• 3 stalks green onion, chopped
• 2 cups oil (for deep frying)
• 1 tsp cooking wine
• 1 tbsp butter

Marinade:
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp ground black pepper
• 1 cup potato starch or cornstarch
• 1 whole egg

For Coating:
• 2 cups all-purpose flour

Steps to Make:
1. Clean the squid by removing the head and innards, then score it for tenderness and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
2. Marinate the squid with salt, pepper, potato starch, and egg. Let it sit for a while.
3. Deep fry the squid until golden and crispy. Be sure not to overcook!
4. Stir-fry with red bell peppers, chilies, green onions, and a touch of butter to bring out bold, aromatic flavors.
