Wexltrails - The WU

The WU is a shaped trail in the area of the Wexl Trails. Starting at the Wetterkogler Haus it covers 259 meters of vertical drop towards the Marienseer Schwaig and offers loads of fun going down.


There are several ways to reach the start of the trail. The "classic" and most demanding way starts at the Corona Park in St. Corona where you take the uphill trail. One August 30th 2020 the Wexl trails offer a shuttle ride to the Wetterkogler Haus (https://www.wexltrails.at/the-wu-shut.... I took a different ascent starting at the Feistritzsattel via the Rabenkopfroute (https://www.outdooractive.com/de/rout....



You should be aware that there's a charge for riding on the Wexl Trails. If you start at the Corona Park, you will pass the ticket shop anyways. If you take a different uphill you can also get a ticket on the summit of Hochwechsel in the Wetterkoglerhaus. Make sure you get a ticket either way, because the whole project should be supported.
