Installing Scissor Jacks to Level the Bus

Описание к видео Installing Scissor Jacks to Level the Bus

After living in the bus for over 6 months, we knew it was finally time to install some scissor jacks to level the skoolie when we park! Until now, we've been making do by using leveling blocks, which means you have to set them up and then drive up onto them, which may take several tries to get just right. Also, some places require more leveling blocks than others, so we needed to buy a second set of blocks... but that would take up even more space! Installing scissor jacks was the perfect solution: they're already in place when mounted on the bus, so all we'll have to do is power-drill them into position each time we park the bus! Perfecto!

About Us:

Hi! We are Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We're building a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible! In other words, Bussy will not be parked in our driveway, waiting for weekend or holiday getaways... when we finish the build, we'll be packing everything we're keeping into the bus and driving away from this old house forever!
We plan to be boondocking the majority of the time, so you'll see that reflected in our choices throughout the build (100 gallon water tank, composting toilet, solar power system, etc). We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, throughout the Skoolie Build, and to Infinite Adventures Beyond!

Mike & Kerry
