Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Thursday looks terrific; showers this weekend

Your 11 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for May 1, 2024: The gorgeous weather will continue to roll in Thursday. An overnight front will bring only a wind shift by daybreak. Temperatures will climb from the low 50s to mid 70s by the afternoon.

Southerly winds return late Thursday setting us up for mild finish to the workweek. Highs will retreat into the mid 80s again Friday afternoon. An advancing cold front will slide in producing showers and storms by the late afternoon.

Shower chances will be numerous through the weekend. We are not anticipating for a washout. The front will hangout across the Buckeye State going into early next week. Rounds of rain will be likely.
