The Hamburg Cathedral is a folk festival held on the Heiligengeistfeld in Hamburg. Every year several million people visit the event, which takes place three times a year

Winterdom (Cathedral market, early November to early December)
Spring Dome (Spring Festival, mid-March to mid-April)
Sommerdom (Hummel Festival, late July to late August)

Over 260 showmen and 110 catering establishments are located at each cathedral on the approximately 160,000 m² festival site. At times there was increasing interest: while there were around 7.5 million visitors in 2007, demand grew to 9 million in 2008 and to 10.8 million in 2009. However, this trend has not continued in recent years; in 2014 there were around 10 .1 million visitors, a million fewer than in 2013. Visitors to the folk festival can expect a colorful mixture of children's carousels, lottery booths, snack bars and taverns, confectionery suppliers and modern, fast rides. Special attractions are the regular fireworks every Friday at 10:30 p.m. and the special themed events on the approx. 2500 m² special event area.
