WOW, this one turned out to be a bit of a BEAST as our first full day back in Tokyo was jammed packed with some epic museums and an amazing evening of sport outside in the warmth of the summer.

We hit up three big spots today, some that most who come to Tokyo will visit and maybe one that isn't for everyone...BUT SHOULD BE!

Starting things off at TeamLab Planets we spend a few hours exploring the interactive art museum trying to see as much of it as possible but really there was no way we would have time for everything. Either way, Planets lived up the to hype that had built up after my visit to the Borderless exhibition back at the start of 2024.

Then it's to nearby Small Worlds to check out Asia's biggest miniature museum (that sentence sounds wrong!) and it not only lived up to the lofty expectations but surpassed them as each and every exhibition was a joy to explore and try to find every little (and we do mean little!) detail.

And with the evening starting to set in it would be time for round 2 of baseball, following up our trip to see Orix at their home stadium in Osaka with a trip to see the Buffaloes play away in Tokyo taking on the Yakult Swallows in what would turn out to be a very exciting game.

It was a truly memorable day with some amazing experiences. Hopefully you get an idea of just how great some of these places are with this video (and the rest of the series!).

Not long left now though as Kaiju Creative Returns to Japan is nearly complete with just another episode (and possibly some surprises) still to come.
