Albuquerque to Sandia Peak | Sandia Crest Scenic Highway | Deer on road | 4K

Enjoy the scenic drive from Albuquerque to the top of the Sandia mountain range, with an elevation gain of over 5000 ft! We took the I-40 East highway to Tijeras, NM-14 to San Antonito, and NM-536 to the summit at Sandia Crest.

The views from the summit looking down at Albuquerque and the surrounding areas were absolutely spectacular. We even saw some deer crossing the road on the way back!
