The nursery

These raccoons (as well as many across the world) are being pushed out of their homes. I understand that they are a nuisance and that most people don't like them. Obviously I don't feel that way. To me, we should share our space. We have no more right than they do to anything. We should try to coexist with everything. They have their purpose. I began feeding them years ago. Yes, it was a mistake. I shouldn't have but I did. It's too late. They're dependent on me. I enjoy them and they've become trained to come. They do what I say like dogs. They live outdoors but when it's stormy, they sleep in the flower pots on my covered deck or under the deck. Since I made them dependent on me, I am now responsible for them and that's OK. I'll take care of them. But I want to show people that they're not the vile creatures that many people think they are. They have personalities. They are smart, feeling creatures. In fact, I believe all animals are. It's a special feeling to connect to animals. To be trusted by another species on a different level. Without words, you must connect on an emotional and vibrational level and once you arrive at that place, you have become a different person. They're a gift, animals are. They cannot communicate with their words. Please remember that if you get upset with them. They don't have the same way to communicate. They have no way to tell you what they want. It's up to you to bridge that gap.
