The Story Time with Global Stage videos have been extracted from the Literacy Book
of the Macmillan Primary course Global Stage.
These reading lessons in Global Stage aim to support the development of literacy and to foster a love of reading, to encourage students to become lifelong readers.
Digital storytelling is helpful because it engages students in a way that is both visual and auditory, as well as textual. Learners can make connections to previous experiences more easily, think critically about new information, and use their own knowledge to fill out any gaps in understanding.
