Ashok Singh Bisht, a central member of the Nepal Student Union (NSU), the student wing of the Nepali Congress, has filed a complaint against Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah and Hami Nepal founder Sudan Gurung.

The complaint, lodged at the Lalitpur District Police Office, accuses them of using students in school uniforms as human shields during the Gen-Z protests on Bhadra 23 and 24, and of playing a leading role in incidents of arson involving national heritage sites, government, and private properties.
