Rock n Rolle with Damo Koerner

Damon and Jono Koerner are brothers from the Clare Valley who are responsible for an utterly distinct collection of wines. I visited their winery in the Adelaide Hills in June and we went through 21 wines across both the Koerner (Clare Valley) and Leko (Le - Lenswood Adelaide Hills, Ko - Koerner Clare Valley) wines. Stylistically my heart lies with the whites which are textural, layered, spicy and exciting. The reds offer exactly this and are made in a delicate, earlier picked style (no wholebunch). Lots of alternate fermentation and maturation vessels housed in the IMMACULATE winery. The tasting was supposed to go for an hour or so, but three hours later we finished tasting and shot this video. Thoroughly enjoyable day, thoroughly enjoyable guys, and the wines are delicious. My favourites are featured in this video. (You can hear the rain on the roof).
