This is a new series that focuses on those individuals who you may not know by name, but most likely seen throughout the Chicagoland area at a show or two. These are people who own and operate the clubs, engineer the sound, manage the venue, book the talent, secure the stages and so much more. These are people who love the music as much as anyone but give it their ultimate attention as it's become their life. For some, it's been decades, for others, it's a new journey into a life that they couldn't live otherwise. This series is about one of those individuals who make the Chicago music scene possible.

This episode is on Brian James Dickie. Brian is a staple in the Chicago music scene that goes back to the late 90's where he got his start at a legendary recording studio. From there he worked his way through some of Chicago's iconic clubs like NEO and Metro. He's help make Chicagoans safe with his security teams and helps to create live events that have become annual festivals that make a difference within the Chicago community.
