Let's start by filling up the container with fresh water and adding moss to the water,
so it will be easier to spread it onto the wreath base. I will be using a basic straw wreath covered with plastic tape and a 24-gauge wire on a roll. Let's start adding the pieces of moss to the wreath.
Make sure to squeeze out most of the water from the moss before using it to cover the whole wreath base. Secure it with a wire. Take your time, do not rush it.
Let's add some artificial flowers. Cut to pieces with wire clippers and arrange as you like. I like to pierce the stems through the moss, so the ugly stems are not visible.
Then use wire to fasten it to the wreath.
Make sure, the wire is secured well. Now I will be adding more artificial flowers and
greenery. Cutting it into shorter pieces as I need. I'm using a glue gun and mossing pins to attach them. Please be careful with the hot glue. Handmade mossing pin from 18-gauge wire. To add more colour and texture, I am adding some preserved bright green amaranthus to add a little light-heartedness. I feel It needs some ribbon..I also love to add succulants to summer arrangements. I will be using floral glue attaching them to the wreath. A bit of bark for an organic look.
